Dr. Stephen Sawrie received his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his D.D.S. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, located in Memphis. Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Sawrie served his country in the U.S. Navy, after which he was honorably discharged with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Following his military service, Dr. Sawrie returned to complete his orthodontic specialty residency at St. Louis University, graduating with a master of orthodontics. Dr. Sawrie is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, The American Association of Orthodontists and the Tennessee Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Daniel Sawrie is a Chattanooga native and attended the Baylor School where he graduated in 1991. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and then attended the University of Tennessee College Of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S. degree. Dr. Daniel then continued his education at the University of Tennessee where he completed a three year residency program and was awarded a certificate and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. Dr. Daniel is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Chattanooga Area Dental Society, and the Tennessee Valley Dental Study Club. Dr. Daniel Sawrie is a "Board Certified Orthodontist", recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church where he currently serves as a Deacon. He enjoys spending time with his wife Lucy and daughter Chloe, and his hobbies include photography, golf and fishing.
